TRADE & PROJECT FINANCE
FACILITATING TRADE · SUPPORTING TRANSACTIONS · CONNECTING FINANCIAL CAPABILITIES

International trade and project transactions often require appropriate financial structures to support payment obligations, contractual performance and successful transaction execution.
METTA PETROLEUM complements its energy and commodities trading activities by facilitating access to trade and project finance solutions for qualifying transactions. Where financial instruments are required for third-party transactions, the Company may work with established SBLC/DLC providers, financial counterparties and other appropriate financial-solution providers which, in turn, may coordinate with suitable issuing banks or financial institutions for the issuance of agreed trade-finance instruments.
Our primary focus is supporting petroleum, oil and gas, energy and commodity transactions. However, suitable requirements from companies operating in other industries and commercial sectors may also be considered where there is a legitimate underlying transaction and the parties are able to satisfy the applicable commercial, due-diligence, KYC/AML and compliance requirements.
METTA PETROLEUM does not itself issue banking instruments and does not represent itself as a bank or issuing financial institution. For third-party qualifying transactions, our role may include facilitating communication, transaction coordination and access to appropriate financial-instrument providers. Where METTA PETROLEUM participates as a principal buyer in a petroleum, energy or commodity transaction, the Company is responsible for satisfying the financial-capability and payment-security requirements agreed with the seller, which may include arranging acceptable bank-issued payment instruments, guarantees, collateral or other agreed payment arrangements through appropriate financial institutions.
Our approach is guided by our Corporate Philosophy:
Energy with Wisdom · Global Outreach
能源有道 · 融通四海
01 | TRADE & PROJECT FINANCE
Connecting Trade with Financial Solutions
International trade depends upon more than the movement of goods. It requires appropriate financial structures, credible counterparties and the ability to align commercial obligations with suitable sources of financial support.
At Metta Petroleum, our experience and commercial understanding of trade and project finance are rooted in the Company’s heritage.
Since our beginnings in 2014 as CREAFIN CAPITAL RESOURCES PTE. LTD., our experience has encompassed project finance, corporate advisory, capital markets, commodities trading and international commercial transactions.
Today, this experience complements Metta Petroleum’s activities in petroleum and commodities trading, enabling us to understand both the commercial and financial dimensions of international trade. Through established strategic relationships, METTA PETROLEUM seeks to facilitate access for eligible clients and counterparties to appropriate trade and project finance solutions through independent financial-solution providers which may, in turn, work with suitable banks and financial institutions in relation to qualifying requirements.”
CONNECTING ENERGY · TRADE · FINANCE
Our objective is straightforward:
To connect legitimate commercial opportunities with appropriate financial capabilities.
Whether supporting an international commodity transaction, exploring financing requirements for a project or facilitating access to suitable financial instruments, we seek to approach each opportunity with commercial discipline, transparency and appropriate due diligence.
02 | STRUCTURED TRADE FINANCE
Supporting International Commerce
International petroleum, energy and commodities trading frequently requires appropriately structured financial arrangements capable of aligning the commercial requirements of buyers, sellers, suppliers and other transaction counterparties.
METTA PETROLEUM recognises that access to suitable trade-finance capabilities can be an important component in facilitating legitimate cross-border commerce and supporting the successful execution of qualifying transactions.
For third-party qualifying transactions, through established relationships with SBLC/DLC providers, financial counterparties and other independent financial-solution providers, METTA PETROLEUM may facilitate introductions and transaction coordination for eligible clients. The relevant provider assesses the underlying transaction and, where appropriate, may coordinate with suitable banks or financial institutions to consider appropriate financial solutions.
Structured trade-finance solutions may support areas including:

06 | OUR STRATEGIC FINANCIAL NETWORK
Experience. Relationships. Execution.
METTA PETROLEUM maintains a strategic relationship with an established Singapore-based SBLC/DLC Principal Provider operating since 1994, whose activities include trade-finance and financial-instrument solutions for qualifying international transactions.
Through this relationship, METTA PETROLEUM may introduce and coordinate qualifying third-party commercial requirements with the Provider for consideration. Depending upon the underlying transaction and the requirements of the parties, potential solutions may include Documentary Letters of Credit (DLC/LC), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Bank Guarantees (BG) and other appropriate trade-finance arrangements.
The SBLC/DLC Provider, in turn, works through its established banking and financial-institution relationships to coordinate the proposed issuance or financial solution, subject to transaction assessment, due diligence, KYC/AML and compliance requirements, provider procedures, issuing-bank approval and acceptance by the relevant parties.
This network enables METTA PETROLEUM to support qualifying requirements arising from petroleum, energy and commodities trading, as well as suitable transactions from other legitimate commercial sectors where appropriate financial instruments or trade-finance solutions may be required.
For qualifying third-party requirements, METTA PETROLEUM acts as an introducer, commercial facilitator and transaction coordinator within this relationship. METTA PETROLEUM is not a bank, SBLC/DLC issuer or issuing financial institution and does not itself guarantee the issuance, approval or availability of any financial instrument.
